Mr. Adler, as President and CEO of Adler Realty Investments, Inc., is actively involved in a broad spectrum of real estate investment and development projects. His market insight, analysis and leadership skills enable the firm to consistently exceed market returns on its investments.
While serving as President of Adler, Mr. Adler has acted as general partner, manager and investor in over 50 real estate projects worth over $1 billion. Many of these projects consisted of “value added opportunities” whereby the property was purchased having a high level of vacancy and neglect. Mr. Adler and his team instituted the renovation, redevelopment and management expertise required to reposition the properties to a stabilized and profitable condition. Additional projects include the entitlement and development of land for residential, industrial and commercial use, and acquisition of institutional grade stabilized properties where the management team maximizes cash flow and investor return.
Mr. Adler is a graduate from the University of Denver with a degree in Business Administration, majoring in Real Estate and Finance. He obtained a MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, and a CPM designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. Mr. Adler is a member of the Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Mr. Grossman oversees financial and corporate operations for Adler. Mr. Grossman, previously with Price Waterhouse, was involved in the auditing of publicly and privately owned companies. His experience included initial and secondary offerings and related reporting, with additional clients in the health care, manufacturing, finance, real estate, restaurant and non-profit industries. After leaving public accounting he worked for various privately held organizations. His responsibilities included all aspects of accounting systems implementation, reporting, financial strategies, human resources, cost management, risk management, contracts, information technology, and financial planning and analysis. He is a graduate of USC with a degree in Accounting.
Managing Director, Acquisitions & Investor Relations
Mr. Gable directs the acquisition team and secures the debt and equity financing for Adler Realty’s investments. In addition, with Michael Adler, he serves as the primary contact to the firm’s institutional and private investors. During the last six years at Adler, Mr. Gable has negotiated $700 million of debt and supervised $500 million in acquisitions.
In his role as Managing Director, Mr. Gable provides leadership, strategies, and finance expertise for the acquisition of investments, as well as being one of the three members of the firm’s Investment Committee. Mr. Gable is also responsible for investor relations, which includes presenting and interpreting investment opportunities, and providing equity partners with status reports on their investments.
Mr. Gable has over ten years of commercial real estate experience, with a focus on the financing, leasing and sale of office, industrial, and retail properties. Prior to joining Adler Realty Investments, he was President and Chief Operating Officer for a successful start-up internet service provider which grew to 125+ employees. Mr. Gable was instrumental in its growth and eventual sale for $450 million dollars. Mr. Gable graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and is a licensed real estate agent in California and Pennsylvania.
Managing Director, Acquisitions
As Managing Director of Acquisitions, Mr. Engel is responsible for, and is the primary contact for acquisitions for the company. Prior to joining Adler Realty, Mr. Engel has served as Director of Acquisitions for both Rexford Industrial and the Abbey Company. Before his career in commercial real estate acquisitions, Mr. Engel spent 7 years as an investment sales broker with CBRE in Los Angeles where he focused on office & industrial Investments. Mr. Engel holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California and Bachelors degree from the University of California, Riverside in Business Administration.
Brad currently holds the position of Director for Adler Realty Investments in Asia. In this role he works with institutions and high net-worth individuals looking to invest in real estate assets in the United States. Previously, Brad served as the Chief Operating Officer for both a high tech company and a private equity firm. Prior to that, Mr. Good worked at Booz Allen and A.T. Kearney in China/Asia where he served as a strategy consultant to help companies enter and expand into various global markets. Mr. Good has hands-on operating experience, having served as the head of a retail banking network for a (US$214 billion asset) financial services institution. In this post, he was responsible for over 1,600 employees and a P&L of hundreds of millions of dollars.
Brad obtained an MBA (honors) and a Masters in East Asian Studies from the University of Chicago, and a BA from UC Berkeley. He has both lived and worked in China and speaks Mandarin Chinese. He has guest lectured at the University of Southern California and Beijing Normal University.
Senior Director, Asset Management
Mr. Sher is responsible for overseeing property operations for the company. In this capacity, he performs asset management functions of the company which include: developing, implementing and monitoring investment business plans, negotiating leases and the renovation, repositioning and disposition of the portfolios. In his previous position as CFO of Pacifica Capital Group, Mr. Sher was responsible for financial reporting to principals and investors on over $400 million of commercial and industrial real estate investments.
Mr. Sher has over 20 years experience in financial reporting, public accounting and property management disciplines. He holds a degree in accounting from the University of Cape Town and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and California Real Estate Broker.
Mr. Estrada joined Adler Realty Investments in 2002 as Senior Controller. Mr. Estrada is responsible for all accounting and reporting functions for the ARI property portfolio.
Mr. Estrada has been in the real estate industry’s accounting discipline since 1993. He has been employed by Tishman Midwest, E & S Ring, and Trammell Crow Companies. During his tenure at Trammell Crow Companies, Mr. Estrada was responsible for leading a team of six senior accountants in the accounting function for acquisition, development, management and disposition of assets totaling over 10 million square feet of Office, Retail and Industrial assets. He was also responsible for managing the monthly reporting of these assets for clients such as AMB, The Archon Group and Crow Holdings. His most recent role prior to joining ARI was Controller for Newport Beach based developer Hopkins Real Estate Group where he oversaw the full accounting operations associated with the horizontal and vertical development of retail centers nationwide.
As Asset Manager, Mrs. Tarr oversees property operations for ten office, industrial, and retail assets across the country. Her responsibilities include the development, implementation and monitoring of investment business plans, lease negotiation, renovation, repositioning and disposition of assets, and the development of energy efficiency and solar projects across the entire Adler portfolio. Mrs. Tarr has been with Adler Realty Investments since 2013. She began as an Acquisitions Analyst, preparing cash flow projections and investment offering materials, as well as assisting in due diligence analysis for new projects. Mrs. Tarr earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University, in Philadelphia. She joined the Adler team after working for over 11 years as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, providing valuation consulting services to numerous clients in Southern California.
Regional Property Manager
As Regional Property Manager, Ms. Heckendorf oversees the Northern Los Angeles Region and is responsible for all day to day operational and financial functions for the portfolio, which consists of Office, Industrial, and Residential properties. Prior to joining Adler Realty in 2011, Ms. Heckendorf was employed by Caruso Affiliated since 2003, her experience provides over 10 years of knowledge in the real estate management field. She holds a B.S. in Business Management from California Lutheran University.
Senior Property Manager
As Senior Property Manager, Ms. Reed oversees the Phoenix Region and is responsible for all day to day operational and financial functions for the portfolio, which consists of Commercial and Residential properties. Prior to joining Adler Realty in 2009, Ms. Reed held positions with First Industrial Realty Trust and PS Business Parks and brings over 20 years of extensive experience. She is a licensed Arizona Real Estate Broker, licensed California Real Estate Agent and notary public.
Senior Property Manager
As a Senior Property Manager, Ms. Weaver brings a wealth of experience to her position in the real estate management field having managed office and retail properties in the Los Angeles region for over 20 years. She is currently in charge of our Calabasas and Agoura Hills portfolio, responsible for all day to day operations and financial functions. The portfolio consists of both office and retail properties. Prior to joining the company in 2015, Ms. Weaver was employed by Century National Properties for almost 20 years as their Regional Property Manager.
Ms. Sua oversees the day to day operations of the company’s office portfolio in Bakersfield, California. Ms. Sua started her commercial real estate career in March of 2006 working as assistant property manager for Adler Realty Investments, Inc. Prior to coming to Adler Realty Investments she was a licensed CTEC tax preparer and member of the Association of Realtors and worked for Help-U-Sell Real Estate. Ms. Sua’s daily responsibilities include operations and leasing.
As Transaction Coordinator, Ms. Myers manages the acquisition, due diligence and closing processes, ensuring that all parties are fully informed at each stage of the critical paths of these functions. In this capacity, Ms. Myers manages the communications, data and critical paths required to achieve a successful transaction. Ms. Myers joined Adler Realty in 2001 and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at the University of Missouri, Kansas City; and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker; and Notary Public.
As a Senior Accountant for Adler Reality Investments, Ms. Diaz is responsible for managing and reporting of financial data for a portfolio of the company’s projects. Ms. Diaz has over a decade of accounting experience in commercial real estate. Prior joining Adler Realty in 2012, she previously worked for the largest publically traded non-government land owner in Downtown Los Angeles, a public company that at its peak had a market capitalization of $1.0 billion and raised $450 million in common stock proceeds from the initial public offering. The prior company also owned and developed a 35-story upscale 214-residence apartment high rise at 705 W. Ninth St. famously known as Watermark Tower Apartments condominium today.
In addition, Ms. Diaz accounting experience extends to other industries such as import/export, merchandising, and fashion manufacturing and is a graduate of BINUS University with a degree in Accounting from Indonesia.
As a Senior Accountant for Adler Reality Investments, Mr. Eusebio is responsible for managing and reporting of financial data for a portfolio of the company’s projects. Mr. Eusebio has over 25 years of accounting experience in commercial real estate. Prior to joining Adler Realty in 2012, he has been employed by CBRE, Prentiss Properties, Jones Lang LaSalle and New Mark Merrill. Mr. Eusebio has a BSBA degree with a major in accounting from University of The East, Manila, Philippines.
